Marshall South's February Baby of the Month: Welcome Luka Bradley!

Marshall Medical South is thrilled to introduce our February Baby of the Month, Luka Bradley! Proud parents, Kerigan and Alexander Bradley, welcomed their baby boy into the world on February 3rd at 1:24 p.m. Luka weighed in at 9 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 20 3/4 inches long—a bundle of joy to complete their growing family.

Kerigan, who works in the X-Ray department of the Emergency Room at Marshall Medical South, and Alexander, a biomed specialist at the hospital, were overjoyed with their delivery experience. 

“Everybody is always so nice here. I wouldn’t have my babies anywhere else,” Kerigan shared.

As second-time parents, the couple feels more prepared but knows this new journey will bring its own set of challenges.

“We are used to a girl, and now we have a boy, so that will be a struggle of its own,” Alexander laughed. 

Their firstborn, a two-year-old daughter, is now promoted to big sister—an exciting transition for the whole family!

Kerigan anticipates a more hectic dynamic with two little ones in the house. “I won’t be able to just hold him like I did with her,” she admitted. “There’s definitely going to be a balance.” 

When asked if they plan on having more children, Alexander smiled and said, “We got our boy, we got our girl. We might be done.” He jokingly added, “I was in the military before becoming a parent, and raising two children is definitely going to be a bigger battle!”

This birth was extra special for Kerigan, as her sister, Lauren Rosson, works on the OB unit at Marshall Medical South. 

“It was so special having her there. I felt so calm and safe with her in the room since she knows exactly what to do,” she said.
